COVID-19 beklenmedik bir anda hayatımıza girerek, bizi alıştığımız, benimsediğimiz gerçeklerden farklı bir gündelik rutin oluşturma mecburiyetinde bıraktı. Çoğu okulun alt yapısı olmaması sebebiyle öğrenciler uzun bir süre eğitimin nasıl devam edeceği belirsizliğiyle karşı karşıya kaldı. Uzaktan çalışan kesim “home office” uygulamasına adapte olmakta zorlandı. İşe gitmek zorunda olan çalışanlar sağlıklarının tehlikeye girebileceği kaygısıyla işe gidip gelmek durumunda kaldı. Küçük işletmeler ise iş yerlerini kapatmak durumunda kalınca bir kısmı borç yükü altında kaldı bir kısmı ise battı… Bu pandemi sürecinden her kesim etkilenmiş oldu. Bu olumsuz etkilerin bir kısmını bertaraf edebilmek adına yenilikçi çözümler üretmek amacıyla uygulanmaya başlanan iki projeden bahsedeceğiz.
İlk proje, “COVID 19'a Genç Çözümler” adı altında Genç Başarı Eğitim Vakfı koordinatörlüğünde ve CORBİZ ortaklığında ve İstanbul Kalkınma Ajansı tarafından duyurulan COVID-19 ile Mücadele ve Dayanıklılık Programı kapsamında uygulanan proje ile birlikte liseli gençlerin COVID-19’un yarattığı sorunlara yenilikçi bir çözüm bulmalarını hedeflenmektedir. Projenin ana amacı liseli gençlerin katılımıyla Koronavirüs salgınının yarattığı sosyal, psikolojik, ekonomik sorunlarla başa çıkmak için yenilikçi girişim fikirleri ve dijital ürünler ortaya koyarak salgının etkilerinin en alt düzeye indirilmesine katkı sunmak olarak saptanmıştır. Proje için belirlenmiş olan kitle, sokağa çıkma yasağının olumlu olumsuz etkilerini daha yakından yaşamış olup bu etkilere çözüm olarak daha yaratıcı ve işlevsel çözümler üretebilecektir. Katılımcılar yaratıcılık, takım çalışması, iletişim ve girişimcilik becerilerini de kullanarak COVİD-19’un etkilerine çözüm üretmeye çalışacaklar.
14–19 arası yaş grubundaki girişimcilik becerilerine sahip projede yer alacak öğrenciler yenilikçi fikirler üretmekle kalmayıp, iş hayatlarına atılmadan önce ilgi alanlarını görmüş ve becerilerini keşfetmiş olacaklar.
Pandemi süresinde katılımcıları kalabalık bir yerde toplamamak ve sosyal mesafe kurallarına uymak adına oluşturulan bu girişim gruplarına online eğitim ve mentorluk verilerek hazırlanacak program dahilinde katılımcı basına 24 saatlik eğitim çalışmaları uygulanacak. Oluşturulan eğitim içerikleri ve çalışmalar sonrası üretilen fikirler uzun vadeli, sürdürülebilir olarak kullanılabilecek.
İkinci proje ise Endeavor Türkiye koordinatörlüğünde, TÜRKONFED ve Viveka ortaklığı ile gerçekleştirilen ve yine İstanbul Kalkınma Ajansı’nın COVID-19 ile Mücadele ve Dayanıklılık Programı kapsamında desteklenen Endeavor Connect Projesi.
Proje kurumsal şirketler ile Start-up’ları bir araya getiren, pandemi süresinde değişen ihtiyaçlara yönelik yenilikçi fikirler üretilmesini amaçlayarak bu sayede kurumsal firmalar açısından yeni, dijital fikirlerin ortaya çıkmasını hedeflerken, Start-up’lar ise yeni ürün veya hizmetlerini tanıtabilme imkanı bulmuş ve kurumsal bir firma ile çalışarak deneyim elde etmiş, yeni müşteriler edinmiş olacaklardır.
Endeavor Connect’i değerlendiren Endeavor Türkiye Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Emre Kurttepeli proje hakkında “Yaşadığımız süreç hepimize çok şey öğretti. Ancak Start-up’lar ne kadar zorlansalar da esnek yapıları, değişikliğe uyum sağlama kabiliyetleri ve yenilikçi yaklaşımlarıyla bu süreci pek çok büyük şirkete göre daha az hasarla atlatma potansiyeline sahip. Endeavor Connect ile bu sinerjiden yararlanarak her iki taraf için faydalı, hızlı ve yenilikçi çözümler sunmayı hedefliyoruz. Program resmi olarak 3 ay sürüyor fakat Endeavor olarak bu program sona erdikten sonra da çalışmalara devam etmeyi planlıyoruz.” şeklinde projeyi değerlendirdi Proje kapsamında start-up’ların yenilikçi ürün veya hizmet geliştirmelerine yardımcı olunacak ve bu kapsamda webinarlar ve forumlar düzenlenecek.
Her iki proje de COVID-19’un yarattığı olumsuz etkilere yenilikçi ve sürdürülebilir ürün veya hizmet üretilmesi amacı taşıyor. Pandemi sürecinin olumsuz etkilerini olumlu bir etkiye dönüştürülmesi için gerçekleştirilecek bu projeler öğrenciler ve çalışanlar için hem iş/eğitim hayatında hem de proje katılımcılarının kendilerini tanıyabilme, kendilerini geliştirebilme, sınırlarını genişletebilme ve kendilerini bir üst seviyeye taşıma imkanı vermesi açısından büyük önem taşıyor.
COVID-19 süreci ile birlikte proje çalışmaları ve projelerin odak noktası da COVID-19 sürecinin getirdiği diğer değişimlerden gibi kaçınılmaz olarak ani bir değişiklik gösterdi. Bu süreçte ortaya çıkan ihtiyaçlara yönelik iki projenin detaylarını bu yazımızla sizlere aktarmış olduk. COVID-19 odaklı olarak fon desteği sağlayan diğer kurum ve kuruluşların destek programları ve bu programlar kapsamında uygulanarak hayata geçiren projeler hakkında bilgi vermeye devam edeceğiz.

Project Studies in the New Normal Process After Pandemic
COVID-19 entered our lives unexpectedly, leaving us obliged to create a daily routine that’s different from the realities we adopted and got used to. For a long time students faced the uncertainty of how the education would continue, as most of schools don’t have distance education infrastructure. The distance working segment had difficulty to adapting to the “home office” working system. Employees who had to go to work had to commute with the concern that their health could be endangered. When small businesses had to close their businesses because of lockdown, some of them were run into debt and some went bankrupt… Every segment of society was affected by this pandemic process. We will talk about two projects that have been implemented in order to produce innovative solutions to eliminate some of these negative effects.
The first project, under the name of “Young Solutions to COVID 19”, was implemented under the coordination of the Young Achievement Education Foundation and in the partnership of CORBİZ and within the scope of the COVID-19 Challenge and Endurance Program announced by the Istanbul Development Agency, and with the project implemented under the name of “Young Solutions for COVID 19” is aimed to find an innovator solution. The main purpose of the project has been determined as contributing to the minimization of the effects of the epidemic by introducing innovative entrepreneur ideas and digital products to deal with the social, psychological and economic problems caused by the coronavirus epidemic, with the participation of high school students. The audience determined for the project has experienced the positive and negative effects of the lockdown more closely and will be able to produce more creative and functional solutions to these effects. Participants will try to find solutions to the effects of COVID-19 by using their creativity, teamwork, communication and entrepreneurship skills.
Students who will take part in the project with entrepreneurial skills between the ages of 14–19 will not only produce innovative ideas, but also see their interests and discover their skills before entering their business life.
During the pandemic period, 24-hour training sessions per participant will be implemented within the program to be prepared by providing online training and mentorship to these initiative groups, which are formed in order not to gather participants in a crowded place and to comply with social distance rules. The created training contents and the ideas that produced after the studies can be used in a long-term and sustainable manner.
The second project is coordinated by Endeavor in Turkey, under the TURKONFED — Viveka partnership and within the Istanbul Development Agency’s Challenge and Endurance with COVID-19 Program, Endeavor Connector Project.
The project aims to create innovative ideas for changing needs during the pandemic, bringing together the corporate companies and the start-ups, aiming to create new, digital ideas for corporate companies, while Start-ups have opportunity to introduce new products or services and they will have gain experience by working with a company also they will gain new customers.
Endeavor Turkey Chairman Emre Kurttepeli evaluated the Endavor Connect and talked a

However, no matter how many difficulties, problems start-ups have, they have the potential to overcome this process with less damage than many large companies, with their flexible structures, ability to adapt to change and innovative approaches. With Endeavor Connect, we aim to offer useful, fast and innovative solutions for both parties by taking advantage of this synergy. The program officially lasts 3 months, but as Endeavor, we plan to continue working after this program ends.”
Within the scope of the project, start-ups will be helped to develop innovative products or services and webinars and forums will be organized in this context.
Both projects aim to produce innovative and sustainable products or services for the negative effects of COVID-19. These projects, which will be carried out to transform the negative effects of the pandemic process into a positive effect, are of great importance for students and employees both in business / education life and in terms of enabling project participants to get to know themselves, improve themselves, expand their boundaries and take themselves to the next level.
With the COVID 19 process, the focus of the project studies and projects has inevitably changed suddenly, like the other changes brought by the COVID 19 process. In this article, we have conveyed the details of two projects for the needs that emerged in this process. We will continue to provide information about the support programs of other institutions and organizations that provide funding support with a focus on COVID-19 and the projects implemented within the scope of these programs.
